DH, born Daryl Franklin Hohl in Potsdam, PA, 11 October 1946; and JO, born John William Oates in NYC, NY, 7 April, 1948 formed Hall & Oates in 1970, after they had met at a band competition in 1967. DH plays guitar and keyboard and sings lead. JO plays lead guitar and sings back-up. H&O are acknowledged to be the best-selling music duo in history with an estimated 40m records sold worldwide. In 2003, H&O were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2014, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and, in 2016, they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Born Jerome Leiber, 25 April, 1933 (died 22 August, 2011); and Mike Stoller (born 13 March, 1933), JL and MS were American songwriting and record producing partners. Stoller was the composer and Leiber the lyricist. Their most famous songs include Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Kansas City, Stand By Me (with Ben E. King), and On Broadway (with Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil). The pair were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1985, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.

She started co-writing with Steve McEwan 2008/09 the results of which became her 2009 album Swan Feathers. SM is a Scottish-born South African songwriter, musician and artist. He has played music since the age of 10 and wrote his first hit “I Still Long For You”, aged 17. LM and SM have performed as the duo Melody Kills.

The MonaLisa Twins are a pop rock band fronted by twin sisters, singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Mona Wagner and Lisa Wagner, born in Vienna, Austria, 16 June, 1994. Mona plays guitar, percussion, harmonica and flute; Lisa plays guitar, ukulele and cello. They came to prominence through their YouTube videos where they performed cover versions of Beatles’ songs and songs by other ‘60s bands.

They came to England with their family in 2014 and settled in Liverpool. The Twins would secure a 2-year residency at the Cavern Club, building a huge following. The played with Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, touring the UK, and have played at Glastonbury. They have released two albums of original material: When We’re Together (2012), and Orange (2017).

JP is a musician, songwriter and record producer who achieved international success as founder, and lead guitarist, of rock band Led Zeppelin. Page began his career as a session musician in London, and was one of the most sought after. He was a member of The Yardbirds, 1966-68, and formed Led Zeppelin in 1968. Page is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time. He was ranked #2 on Gibson’s list of “Top 50 Guitarists Of All Time”.

Paramore is a rock band from Franklin, TN, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of Hayley Williams (vocals & keyboards), Taylor York (guitar) and Zac Farro (drums). They released their debut album, All We Know is Falling, in 2005. Their breakthrough album was Riot! (2007), certified Platinum in the U.S. The self-titled 2013 album gave the band its first #1 on the Billboard 200, and was also #1 in UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico. Ain’t It Fun from the album won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for Williams and York as songwriters.
