The way to play the change from the Em back to the Cmaj7(#11), in the verses, is to keep your 2nd finger on the B-note (5th str; 2nd fret). Nevertheless, it's still it a bit of a stretch... Chord x is a sort of A6/9 chord (minus a third and a fifth). What it's called is maybe less important; it sounds right... There seem also to be some augmented eleventh chords around. Well, that's just the way it worked out. Do they sound right...? Guitar Figure 2 is the jam that gets played at the end of the song.
