Ray Davies

Born Raymond Douglas Davies in London, 21 June 1944. RD is a rock singer who was lead singer and principal songwriter with The Kinks, one of the most prolific and long-lived English bands. Since the dissolution of The Kinks in 1996, RD has had a solo career as a singer-songwriter. He has also acted, directed and produced shows for theatre and television.

Born 3 Jan 1957 in Auckland, NZ, DD is an award-winning musician, singer-songwriter, guitarist and record-producer. Originally with NZ band Th’ Dudes, and  main creative force in DD Smash, he is now a solo act. He has collaborated with other NZ artists e.g. Neil and Tim Finn, and Bic Runga.


Neil Finn

Born Cornelius Mullane Finn on 27 May 1958 in Te Awamutu, NZ. NF is a singer songwriter, guitarist and pianist and one of NZ’s foremost popular musicians. He was front-man and principal songwriter for Crowded House and previously, with his brother Tim, for Split Enz. Has performed as a solo artist since 1996. Reformed CH in 2006.


Tim Finn

Born Brian Timothy Finn on 25 June 1952 in Te Awamutu, NZ, TF is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and pianist most known for his work in New Zealand rock group Split Enz and, later for his solo work, a temporary member of Crowded House and his joint effort, with younger brother Neil, in The Finn Brothers.

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band formed in July 1967, in London. In 1998, selected members of Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. The two most successful periods for the band were during the late 1960s British blues boom, when they were led by guitarist Peter Green and achieved a UK number one with "Albatross"; and from 1975-87, as a more pop-oriented act, featuring Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album, Rumours, produced four US Top 10 singles, and remained at No. 1 on the US albums chart for 31 weeks, as well as reaching the top spot in various countries around the world. To date, the album has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, making it the eighth-highest-selling album of all time.


Ben Folds

Born Benjamin Scott Folds, 12 September 1966, in Winston-Salem, NC, BF is an American musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who plays piano and guitar. From 1995-2000, he was frontman and pianist for alt. rock band Ben Folds Five. He subsequently performed solo. He started learning piano aged 9 and taught himself popular songs by ear. He has collaborated with Regina Spektor and ‘Weird Al’ Jankovic. He is currently employed as Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Centre, Washington D.C.


Roddy Frame

Born 29 January 1964 in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Founded 1980’s Indie band Aztec Camera, where he was guitarist, singer and principal songwriter. Now a solo performer. Has collaborated with Edwyn Collins, Mick Jones and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
