this song has been covered by 29 different artists, as diverse as Billie
Holiday (1940), Doris Day (1962), Kevin Ayers (1976), Linda Ronstadt (1984)
and Brian Ferry (1999).

The recording I have of Marlene seems to be in F, which is quite low to sing.
I have transcribed Kevin Ayers's version, which is more of a Bossa nova and
is in G, and which better suits my voice.
You may have to transpose to suit your own voice. Enjoy!
